This alcohol rehab programme in South Africa continues for eleven months of alcohol rehab (after completion of a specific treatment programme). During this period the patient and those concerned are provided with:

• Individual counselling
• Literature
• A support group for recovering alcohol-dependants

The attendance of self-help groups such as the AA and other alcohol rehab groups are also encouraged.
